Progress!

I am sure that we have the best neighbours in the world. Terry (our bobcat operator neighbour) visited Matthew in the wine shop on Thursday night to see if he wanted to finish off the main part of the front yard - but as Matthew was working Friday night, Saturday from 8am till 9pm, and Sunday from 12-8, he didn't really have much time for yard work! So here I am, lying lazily in bed this morning, and I hear a truck pull up outside. I'm thinking it's something for next door. Then I hear swishing outside my window, and I'm thinking that something is happening in the yard. So I go outside to find Terry & Darryl lining the inside of our retaining wall with black plastic, and then Terry scraped the front yard (no more motocross track - yeah!) and filled in the trench behind the wall. It looks so good, and Matthew will come home soon (for lunch before he heads off to the wine shop) to a nice surprise. It has definitely made my weekend!
